The Opportunity:
The Junior Implementation Consultant is responsible for supporting the successful setup and launch of new locations for existing SynergySuite customers. This role focuses on executing standardized implementation tasks, configuring the platform to customer specifications, and delivering effective training to ensure a smooth go-live experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to develop deep product knowledge while working closely with senior consultants, customer success, and internal teams. What you’ll be doing:
- Develop a strong working knowledge of SynergySuite, including core functionality, configuration options, and common customer use cases
- Configure and launch new locations for existing customers, ensuring accurate setup aligned with established customer standards and best practices
- Execute standardized implementation tasks, including system configuration, data validation, and user access setup
- Serve as the primary point of contact during location launches, ensuring a smooth and timely go-live experience
- Track implementation tasks, timelines, and dependencies to ensure on-time completion
- Document implementation details, configurations, issues, and resolutions to support internal knowledge sharing and future rollouts
- Participate in customer meetings to review progress, address questions, and coordinate next steps
- Identify potential risks or issues during implementation and escalate as needed to senior consultants or management
- Follow established implementation processes and contribute feedback to improve tools, templates, and workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Support, Engineering, Customer Success) to resolve setup or configuration issues
- Deliver administrator training in a conference-room or classroom-style environment when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Information Systems or related field desired, graduate degree or certificates a plus
- SQL experience required
- Experience working in or with restaurants strongly preferred
- Excellent project management, consulting and problem-solving skills
- Strong organization, time management and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate strong technical aptitude and ability to learn technologies and their applications quickly
- Previous experience with alternative restaurant management systems beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to earn respect from customers, colleagues and others
- Ability and credibility to work effectively with both our internal and external customers at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to work unsupervised or as a team member of both the local office team and wider company teams
- A self-starter with initiative, drive and strong desire to succeed
